Every job is important to Thomas Concrete. Especially the job at your house. Each day we produce concrete for driveways, foundations, basketball courts — you name it. This portion of our Website has been designed to answer any questions or concerns you may have about jobs around your house that require concrete. To make sure you order enough concrete to complete your project, please go to our volume calculator. Our minimum order is 1 cubic yard (cy)
or 27 cubic feet (cf). A delivery charge is added for orders of less than 5 cy.

As a homeowner, what should I do before ordering concrete?

Several items must be addressed before you place an order for delivery.
Some of these are:

Since Thomas Concrete, is a ready mix producer it is important to schedule a concrete finisher to place the concrete. Places to look for concrete finishers are:
  1. Yellow Pages
  2. Newspaper
  3. Concrete salesperson
  4. Concrete plant managers
Set up a method of payment for the concrete:
Thomas Concrete accepts the following:
  1. Check (All checks must be verified through our main office prior to delivery.) Click on Check/Credit Card/COD document
  2. Open an Account through a salesperson (click on Credit Application)
  3. Credit Card (must be verified through our main office) – Click on Check/Credit Card/COD document
  4. Cash on delivery (Drivers are to be paid before concrete is released) – Click on Check/Credit Card/COD document
Checking access for the trucks to enter the jobsite. Since concrete trucks weight approximately 30 tons loaded, 14’ clearance in height, and 10’ clearance in width it is important to check for the following.
  1. Guide wires
  2. Electrical wires
  3. Telephone Cables
  4. Tree branches
  5. Septic Tank locations
  6. Soft grounds conditions
Scheduling your delivery: Call the plant located in your area and give the following information.
  1. Name
  2. Address for delivery
  3. Phone Number
  4. Account Number – (If you have an open account)
  5. Amount of concrete needed (check the concrete calculation)
  6. Strength of concrete needed
  7. Date & Time of delivery
  8. Method of payment
  9. Special equipment if needed (6X trucks, Belt trucks, 6X Belt, Pump trucks)
